Thanks again everybody, I really appreciate the comments. The repair isn't 100% perfect, but it does give the box some character. Nothing wrong with a few battle scars!
Seeing as I'm considering that section of the box repaired, I figured it was time to address the missing cassette door. Chopped up an old Sanyo door I had laying around and made it fit. It isn't completely functional, but it opens and closes, and I think it looks better than just having an open space there.
