I like the confident look of this BB, it's a pretty smart looking machine which the colour scheme exemplifies. I's still pleasantly surprised at just how many decent looking BB's remain in such good condition after all these years.
I agree, there is something about this box and all those buttons. It just pulls me in, but it doesn't look like a kids toy. It looks serious, professional.

Absolutely killer box - I'm stoked to hear it sounds good too!!

Congrats!

Hey Relli, are the speaker caps on your example smaller?

AWESOME MAN, I have loved this thing from a far for so long too. I'm glad that it lives up to it's looks too. These are really reasonably priced and seem to come up on eBay.de often.

And yes, I love them huge dust covers!

It looks like it. I've seen 2 or 3 different caps on these. My Stag RR-1048 seems to have the same caps Chris has.

Stag, interesting....I wonder how many AKA's of this box there are. Still has all the features!

That is a super feature packed box, looks so good in black!
Yeah man, really great usable features. While in Germany I had 4 stations all programmed in, when commercials came on, I switched stations at the push of a button. You forget how great of a feature it is, not having to spin the dial and search

I really like this box as well. It is a no nonsense box that you can tell was built with pride. That's one of those boxes you can have a few beers and be like...yep...it's mine :-)

P.S.- I like how they used the wording "Stand-By" in place of Pause. You don't see that every day along with Fe-Cr tape selector. If anyone has a type III cassette I bet that would be worth a lot unopened. That is unusual as well. I was expecting to see Normal / Cr02 / Metal

Many of the late 70s boxes predate the tech of metal tape comparability. Eg Sanyo M9994, M9998 etc.
