I got a question regarding the sub. Is it in a seperate enclosure, is it isolated from the full range speakers? It might sound a lot better if it was.
How much power are you running to the subs and the components?
Are you using the headunit to power any of the speakers or just the amps?
Sorry for all the questions, but I need to know to put my mind at ease. :-P
Yeah the sub is in a separate box and the pre historic eclipse 4ch amp runs the splits as well. The back of the cabinet is enclosed too so the splits have some what loading on them..
Hope that answers your q :afro:

You gave me an idea to do it under a work bench mounted to the wall!!! Would look killer and not take up any valuable shelf space! :-)

Have to add it to my neverending to do list! ;-)

Ideas never end!
Just started a project with 2 old homestereo speakers.
PHILIPS power ports.
Will built them in a chassis with carradio, amp and something else.
But it must be portable (grip) and work on AC+DC

You love your Phillips!!! I think being creative with our hobby is great!!! I told my wife I wanted DJ speakers and a few amps in the lower level for when we have get togethers.... once again an over thought.....She's right would cause problems with neighbors :nonono:

Then again if I were single... I'd have shiny chrome poles in the basement with tables built around 'em :-P :w00t:     Dreamin' is fun!
