BTW, they are asking $2240 for this M90.
Yea I was trying to convert back to NZ dollars. Guessing prices are Russian? Apparently if I wanted to buy the Sanyo mx820 (would love 1) but worked out a bit over $7000. No thanks

I have noticed that about Russian sellers, man they really want a lot of money for their boxes. What is the deal with that? Mystic Traveler can you please shed some light on why that is? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.😁😁😁

For me that's pretty obvious, bud. :)

Those whose offers with sometimes outrageous prices you may see at Epay or sites like this, they are just trying to make some money
out of those old boomboxes.

They are not deep in this hobby, many of them are not real collectors
and in this sence IMO not much different from any other sellers and REsellers all over the world. :)
I'd call them profiteers if I am using this term correctly in this connotation.

Nothing fancy, the same old story.

At first I was wondering why they were asking more for the Victor vs the JVC M90 but then I spotted the box, packing material and remote along with factory sealed Demo Tape

Prices are really high, but i suppose there are still people who go and buy there ? Because if you want something really bad you´ll pay those prices asked  Sony CFS-77 is a nice piece i´d love to have from there but going to Moscow already is a big hassle.

Russians love electronics !
As much as i know, Russia has actually quite a large number of collectors, well, quite many resellers too and when you want to get something from Russian auction or sale sites, they don´t send it out from Russia which is odd. Their postal system doesn´t work too well with international parcels either.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Even Rolls Royce couldn't make a box as gorgeous as that big red beast, it just oozes quality, extravagance and class.

If you like it, you can buy it on ebay, but with price of $7000 you can buy real car Rolls Royce...
