Boombox damaged in Shipping

Hi
I had a boombox that was damaged in shipping & i filled out a claim on usps &
they send me a letter saying that i had to bring in the boombox & the box & packing material
to the post office. so today i took it there and the lady took it.

and then the lady said to fill out something online to show that i took it there but i did not see anything like that on the site

so i am wondering what happens next do they give me the boombox back or do they keep it.

Either way, what you should do is call the USPS customer service or whatever they call their call center & ask about making claims & what to expect in the process. That way, you can verify with them that the process is in fact in progress & eliminate any snags before they happen....just my 2 censt.
