Collecting boombomboxes is getting addicting I'm looking on ebay every day. If worst comes to worst for space I think the kids will have to move out, lol.

I received a text with this pic while I was golfing a couple of years back.:

A friend found it cleaning out his uncle's attic. He was going to toss it, so I took it. I ended up with this.:

It's been on ever since.

First two boxes that started my collection were Sharp GF-777 and JVC M-70.
Can't go wrong there! Great start on your collection .
Reason I started collecting, I was reminiscent of my Rising SRC2015 that I lost in the streets of Brooklyn NY back in the 80's and so the quest began

It's gonna happen sooner or later.

Sooner is good for them. It's important that they learn to be self reliant at an early age! :-D

Lol. I think your right the sooner the better, lol. Space is becoming short tho, I did try stacking them earlier but they kept going wobbly and falling. Guess I'll have to try stacking the boomboxes instead, lol :)

Welcome brother :hi: I started collecting in 08" but actually I own Lasonic TRC931 from 1989 paid $160 and a TRC975 from 1993 and paid $180. Both like new still!!! My first purchase was a Pansonic RX5010 from ebay to start collecting in 2008. This particular unit was also my first Boombox purchase in 1982 :-)

My madness started back in 2005, when I picked up my first box in a thrift shop for £15. Can't believe it's been 9 long years already :w00t:279.jpg
