"Cancer" - I just wish that it had never existed. So many have died because of it.

I wake up everyday thanking the big guy upstairs, because while I'm in remission I have to enjoy everyday to the fullest.

I have to keep going because I have to be there for my mom while she deals with Alzheimers.

I'm soooooo exhausted but I guess there's a reason I'm still here and that is mom.

I lost my father almost 2 years ago to Cancer and my family watched as a robust, active man was withered down to frailty because of this ravaging disease. My son and daughter are walking in the Relay For Life for him today. I couldn't convince them to tote a boombox, but maybe in few years.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone. It seems to be one of the things that we all unfortunately share, this hideous disease. But humanity is making strides to cure it.
