Well i have had several more sets of speakers since this and had my monitor audio gx300 repaired again but now i only run 60 watts through them........200w is an outrageous claim...

anyway the latest pair are a pair of kef concerto from 1971 i had a pair in the 90's but they were to far gone.......

they weigh in at 50 lb each and are insane the bass is deeper than the monitor audio speakers, in fact i don't think i have had any speakers with bass like this had dozens and im only running them on a mid range technics amp and single 7 band eq, the bass is just insanity to say the least.....i just love foooking good speakers lol and they were only £200 just unbelievable, bottom line 3 grands worth of todays speakers just can't compete with the best of yesteryears speakers

also these f****** speakers are so big and heavy no one person can move these by their self. probably have a 18-in wide by 4-in tall all aluminum Tweeter horn on the top and a 15 inch woofer with aluminum frame.

Ey up lad, there is only one pair of speakers i need in my life now, the Monitor audio platinum 300....they were 8k new and go for 4k second hand and finding anybody that will post them is impossible also there is the very small issue of getting 4k lol

I would sell my m90's and crown 970 for 4 k but nobody does pick up, i can tell you if i could drive i would be straight on it but people want it in there hands these days bro, to be honest i would rather sell them anyway, there isn't a day go by that i think that they are likely to be stolen, i trust no plucker here lad

spend some money on security. you could put up cameras all linked to your phone to monitor the place 24/7. please cameras and all the entrances and exit .
