Things seems to come to an good end!

He told me he is very sorry about the damage and it seems to be his first boombox-shipping.
And now he offered me an 2nd boombox (other one) for FREE.
I must only pay for shipping.
Very fair offer!

Hope this one survives...
He will pack it better.

Ok, just got it.

Let´s start with the packing.
Looking more solid like the first one.

Hm, good packing is other...
At the front good packed, luck.
At the back less.
At the sides, nothing.

But luck, the strong boxing prevended damage.
And it seems to be not dropped.
So it came in one (dirty) piece
And it´s a TEC 4040

a very dirty TEC

No switches damaged.
But the Tuning knob at the side is missing

And loaded with failures! :'-(
Mainswitch fails, tape belts very weak, radio dead? btw not really tested because of the missing knob.

So i got some big work for winter
Comes in the storage and waits for better times.

But anyway, for free (only a few for shipping) it´s ok.

It was worth, for sure!
Because i own the same box in mint condition.
So if not repairable, a perfect partspender.

And i know anybody who owns the same and would need parts...
