Beautiful, Docs!!

That goldstar (well, the Prosonic version) is one I hope to score sometime this year.

Great work brother, please let us all know how hard/easy the deck on her is to resurrect as well, if you please.

Glue, the deck is relatively easy. In my case the main belt was off the flywheel. So just remove the deck screws to get at the back was enough to be able to manipulate it back on.
The deck can get stuck though, it works on a mechanical cog somehow and you need to manually manipulate the flywheel into the right position to ensure the mechanism is in the right place.
All that said it is really straight forward.

No probs thanks for looking. There is a black with silver writing one too.

Does anyone have a good close up of it so I might be able to get a replica done ?

you could also have the black one, but i think it will not look good on it... :hmmm:

That Goldstar looks kinda hot :drool:

Mind you, those JVC's aren't looking too shabby either. The 656 is fantastic sounding little box. I like it much :-)
