I have an an update for you guys and gals
check out this font:
Seems familiar, right?
After quite a bit of research I found out it is an Art Nouveau style font.
Now that I am actually in possession of the ORIGINAL font that Dynasty and the other brands used, reproduction will be A LOT easier.
Wanna know why?
Well, I will just give this to my local plotter lady and she will cut them out of gold foil and I only have to produce the black plates.
An insteresting side info is that Dynasty actually only used capital letters of that style but not the "I". They used a small "L" instead of a capitol "I"
.
You can actually see that because of the missing serif on the top right corner of the "I" on the original signs.
The capitol "I" has an extra swirl through it.
The first sets are going to be availible as soon as my plotter lady comes through with a price. Actually when she has the font, it is a piece of cake for her to let it be cut out.
Now we just need to find the right size and voila - we have reproduction signs availible for everyone
Okay - who works on the rest of the box to be reproduced now?
