I found this boombox on a classified ads website and i'm really interested in buying it, but i can't find anything about it.

Anyone know something about it ? how's it sound ? Is it an aka of an other model ?...

That's a nice looking boombox! It very well could be an AKA. I've seen the Audiologic badge on boomboxes also labeled Randix and CEC. I don't think I would expect "great" quality sound, but for an everyday boombox, you can't beat the appearance.

I'd buy that for the way it looks too. If it sounds good, then that's a bonus. I'm about 98.014% certain that I've seen something very similar sold by Tandy under their "Realistic" brand label back in the days when they still had a chain of shops that sold everything from electronic components to a range of affordable audio equipment.

AKA Siemens Club 796.

EDIT: Oops my bad, Club 794. The 796 is a modernised version with equalizer and a soft touch mechanism.

There has been some Club models made by Sanyo (Club 754, same form factor as M4500, but different design) and I believe there is at least one Sharp -based too. Not sure about manufacturer of this one.
