ATTENTION WEST COAST BOOMERS!!!!!

It is seeming like The Bay Area, San Fransisco, Oakland, San Jose would make sense. It's not quite the middle of the West Coast but it's better that San Diego! 
So here are some questions for everyone
Do we want to do like the Sunshine Mix where everyone brings all they got and put it on display?
Do we want to do a BBQ at a park and have some radios, food and beer?
Does anyone have an indoor location we could use?
Does anyone have a small FM transmitter we could plug an MP3 player into so we can all be on the same station playing our radios?
Personally, I'm up for anything, but I don't have allot of money
But if we could find a location where we could do some Blasting and maybe some late night partyin', that could be allot of fun! Then stagger back to the hotel!
Anyway, just throwing out idea's, please feel free to chime in!

there are a long list of parks in the Bay that would work...but some have city ordinances against amplified sound, so we have to do our homework. Heather Farms in Walnut Creek is a good choice, and I believe they have a rec room...or we could do a beach/park combo like Alameda Beach?...we should get the ball rolling...summer is fast approaching...

I'd like to throw out a possible date....The first part of June. I am leaving for Japan on June 17th for 3 months and will be in search of lost gold and boom boxes there. Obviously, I'd like to be at this event!

It's not exactly the center of the West Coast on a map, but it seems that may people are in that area. I'm 330 miles away. But I'm ready for a road trip!

but i want to offer a suggestion ---
is that june weekend considered ' off-season' out there in frisco ??
if so --you guys might be able to get a good $ deal on an AFTERNOON rental
for a club or church or school or anyplace INSIDE
its important to have a place to wizz and charge batteries and fifty other conveniences
and to not be so dependant on the weather
my 2 cents
but i want to offer a suggestion ---
is that june weekend considered ' off-season' out there in frisco ??
if so --you guys might be able to get a good $ deal on an AFTERNOON rental
for a club or church or school or anyplace INSIDE
its important to have a place to wizz and charge batteries and fifty other conveniences

Totally agree. If someone has a line on someplace to do this indoors that would be awesome! Maybe a VFW hall or something similar. Or if someone has a place of business in an industrial area where we could get a little loud! Ok....ALLOT LOUD!
Ira might be old, but he is very wise. Having an indoor location is really the only way to go.
Whatever happened to Melly's offer to have it at his place? Where is he located in Cali?
