Sold on AUG 3, my lasonic 931 Function switch-on the board new, even included (for FREE-being the nice guy I am) a battery door and handle-I mentioned in the listing that it is the switch on the board, and told the buyer he can have it installed by a vcr repairman (easy enough- done it myself) and he is claiming I did notsell the item he wanted-I went back and forth with him for 2 weeks prior about it and in extreme detail-The pics in the listing show that its on the board-now he wants to take the $70 back and keep the stuff?!?!?!??!?!?!? not gonna happen in my book-have $400 loose cash for a trip to his place-and a bat-I will get my money-or my stuff-that's how I look at it.

not serious about the last part (to those who may be spying :ninja: )

but really this guy has been a total as s hole about the whole thing, and to add on- ONLY TYPES IN CAPS LIKE THIS- Avoid BOBBY727 at all costs

thanks guys and gal-Chris :-/

That is unfortunate. people who try and rip others off REALLY piss me off. That is one reason I will only sell my boomboxes to members from now on. If someone were ever to rip me off like that I would have to take a trip to there house and knock on the front door. How can someone steal from you and think there will be no recourse?...good luck and I hope you have a positive outcome.... :-D

Sorry to hear, stuff like that pisses me off even though it doesn't directly effect me. To many people these days have no respect for others or even care about right from wrong.

I'm pretty sure you can place people on your "bog off" list in ebay so they can't msg you or bid on your items. Best taking a look into that.

Yep just add him to your blocked list, I've added about 15 users over the years that either creeped me out or tried to screw me.

What city is this idiot in? 727 area code is Clearwater/St.Petersburg Florida.... Iin my neck of the woods.

Wow, he is harsh on his feedback, much of which makes no sense at all. What is that crap about the strap in the most recent one????

This guy is not very intelligent. It just goes to show you that you have to look at buyer feedback closely.

Thanks for the tip to avoid this guy.

now I am out of my 100% Feedback- and my paypal account is on hold- no money in or out!!! I wish he lived closer so help me I'd go FMJ on his house- this guy is fu cked up-

Ebay really is screwing us honest sellers over-can't leave negative feedback on him!!! I have his phone number though  heading to some public restrooms with that

here is his area code-1-727

NOW He wants the FRONT half-No. I just told him that he royally messed up and may have played it off harsh as being "the number 1 supplier of 931 parts' aside from lasonic and I told him "yes-I have three front halves-and 4 back halves" BUT "they weren't what you and I agreed upon"

Chris. Here is a couple of tips from on eBay old timer.

(1) He has already left you negative feedback. You can either tell him to screw himself, or you can give into his extortion and work with him. YES it is extortion, but feedback can be revised when an issue is resolved. I know it sucks, but with SOB's all over that knows how to work the system, it's part of the cost of doing business.

(2) You can follow up to feedback left. That means whatever feedback was left for you will have your note below it. You can also leave him feedback and although it isn't a negative, your comments, if done creatively (like others have learned to do with unusual characters, will be seen by others). I would certainly refer others to look at how he leaves feedback for others so they will see the pattern.

(3) In my humble opinion, you may have erred in categorizing your item as (NEW, other). I inserted a thread awhile back about the condition category changes by ebay. Once you've put NEW in there, the buyer has an instant win-able claim for not as described. My guess is that paypal is going to find for the buyer. But I hope I am wrong. This is also the reason why I advertise the very worse for anything I sell, and the buyer can see and form their own conclusions as to the condition from the many photos I post. If the buyer reads that it's a POS but the photos show a decent item -- their case for an item not as described is not as easy to win, because I described it as a POS. What's their complaint -- that it's a POS? Does it cause lower sales price? Very possible but I'd rather have that than the grief that comes from pea brained scammers.

I WON!!! I sent 4 pages worth of info about the transaction and the buyer made no opposition to my claims and facts I/E pics of the items, my saved messages, etc. SO I win because I WAS HONEST!!!! My claim was opened at 10;40 and CLOSED at 11;39!!! FAST because I presented all the facts 100% as they occured-folks-I have learned a great deal in this crazy deal from the past 2 months- dont deal with anybody who gives you 'that feeling' if you feel like you don't trust the guy (like I did but was in need of cash) DON"T it isn't worth the time involved and the misery-I am so glad to have this over but I am definitely saving all the dudes personal Address, email, and Cell/phone number for any future reference. Bobby727 is not to be trusted-DONT SELL TO THIS AS S HAT

Thanks guys! How do I reply to his feedback? He said he was "AMBUSHED" Maybe BOMBARDED WITH THE FACTS would be better :-D

Save your messages, proof of delivery (tracking number reciepts, delivery confirmation reciepts and PHOTOGRAPH the Items at the post office or before packing!!!) to show they aren't damaged!

Thanks again guys! Too bad the function switch is in that guys hands though

Whoa! :w00t: I'm glad it turned out in your favor! eBay finally did something right. You didn't deserve that Chris. Take a look at Superduper's advice though because the guy knows what he's talking about. Something to consider for your future sales.

I listed the item 3 times (big BIG mistake-) because he let the BIN expire

about the NEW condition-I just relisted the items as quick as possible-didnt think about it :-/ BUT I have learned an incredible lesson though :-D :-)
