Hello all... I am super new here and cannot wait to get into the BoomBoxes for sale Forum... But I do not have enough posts to get in... So would anyone like to have a deep deep conversation about meaningless things that we can over analyze resulting in a rapid growth of posts on my part? I cannot wait to find out what my fellow members have for sale!!! Please Help. :sadno:

HI goblin

But its probably more has to do with strangers coming on the board and putting a "for sale" sign up.

I currently have the Panasonic RX-5110 that I got new 28 years ago or so...... and I recently got a JVC RC-M90 and a RC-M70..... I am really interested in all the biggest ones..... perhaps I am on some level trying to make up for all of the boxes that I couldn't afford as a youngster...... I would love to find a fully working GF-777 and a VZ-2000 or 2500. I can already tell this hobby is going to become out of control

I like cut of this Goblin chap's jib!

Welcome aboard! And best of luck procuring more! You're off to a great start with an M90 and M70 already.

Welcome!

Sounds like you're off to a great start with those JVCs!

I see you have Ira engaged (redbenjoe) so don't worry... bantering back and forth with him will increase your post count in a hurry.

Thanks Redbenjoe for the PM... I have added you to my fav ebay sellers so that I can keep an eye on your stuff... I am so new to this that I really don't have my interests narrowed down yet as to which boxes interest me..... I do know that I like the Monsters that are just plain impressive..... So far I have not really found and interest in the 3 piecers... I guess that they just dont remind me of the monsters that I envyed in my much younger days... as they kinda resemble more modern equipment..... I know my interests will change as this hobby continues to spiral out of control :-D I am prolly kinda of a cliche' type around here....... Just starting the hobby and after the biggest first.... :hmmm:

...you started at the top of the food chain with the M70 and M90. The M70 is widely regarded as the best all around mid-sized box and the M90 is the unchallenged king of boxes. There are sooooo many great boxes out there I find it hard to stop. Good luck with your continued search for boxes and welcome aboard!!

So you reached your goal pretty fast. Most of us need years to get hold of a M 90
Welcome to the nutthouse by the way :dj-party:

Thanks, i guess I did get lucky.... I found it on ebay, turns out that it was only about four hours away. It is absolutely beautiful. I think it must have been stored for many years as it has very few marks on it and still has a little sticker on the front next to one of the selectors with blue writing on it.. My M70 is in good shape but not nearly as good as the M90.
