Anyone need an Ipod???

i dont think you can beat the multitude of uses a itouch can do . i mean you have so much right there in the palm of your hand.
the prices on them now are really decent they seem to have resolved a lot of the issues since the early days of the ipod.

bill but i dont want to make a coffee with the ipod i want quality sound through the headphones ie as a walkman. as a divice running through say an m90 it was FINE but as i say i wanted good quality sound through cans, and yes i tried quite a few cans on there.

Are you using the mini jack on the ipod or the plug on the bottom. I've read that the onboard amp is not so good, but you can bypass it and have cleaner sound, if you pair it with a Line out cable to something like this......

or one of their desktop stereo amps.

but then, it gets a lot less portable, so whats the point.

Anyway I'm sure it will all sound the same coming out of any non hifi boombox including the mighty M90.

Like said it was FINE through a ghettoblaster but awful as a walkman

I dont have the ipod anymore i tried cheap sony cans to expencive cans the ipod wasn't to bad on it's origional phones but still no where nere as good as i require im just a fussy ol fart but i LOVE quality of sound above all else. My place is unsuitable for loud music now so that's partly why i use ghettoblasters if i had the liberty of a nice home i doubt even the m90 would get a look in as i bought most of my boxes for outside use
