Sadly no recording done before and after but for some little work and small amount you can't lose adding some acoustic upgrades to the cavities of the speakers.Did you make any recordings (Video or Audio only) before and after the modification?
I use similar sheets called Rockmat, it's thick and heavy. I use it in any radio with detachable plastic speakers.I used some Flashband tape (similar to car vibration sheets) to dampen the plastic housing
How's the effect in your assessment ?I use similar sheets called Rockmat, it's thick and heavy. I use it in any radio with detachable plastic speakers.
Yup, same observation here. Also vocals becomes more defined and overall music become more focused. It reduces resonance, eliminating the "boxy" sound characteristics of plastic speaker boxes.
And the bass becomes tighter.
i can recommend the jvc pcx 1000 if you want one of the best, mains only though
Nice diy there ! It really improves the sound .Now I also tried this solution on one of my eggs - Toshiba Aurex RT-CDW700. It is amazing, how it improved the sound - really clear with full bass now.View attachment 51876View attachment 51877
