Any Boomboxers in Glasgow?

Ahoy!

just wondered if there were any fellow boomboxers in or around the Glasgow area? Im from Shetland but my Girlfriend lives in Glasgow so I spend a bit of time there.

Are there any good markets or boot sales or places to find boomboxes in Glasgow? Wouldnt mind picking up a few while im down in October!

I guess you have heard your girlfirend speak like that before.
I just own the 1 boombox myself and I bought that off ebay.
best bet is the car boot sales in the weekends.

Polmadie - Saturday and Sundays (South Side)
Blochairn - Sunday only
The Barras - Saturday and Sunday

as with all boot sales arrive early, 6am normally for me

seen a few but just the 1 boombox is enough just now due to space.

Also you can try the British Heart Foundation on Salvation Army on Dumbarton Road in the west end.

Cheers man, thats exactly what I was after. I was aware of a couple of those but not all of them, youve well and truly covered it! The girlfriend is actually from shetland but she studies in Glasgow so she hasnt developed the accent yet! :w00t:

I just have the 4 boomboxes myself which are written into my signature, looking to expand though when I hit Glasgow.

What box do you have?

Yeah I spotted that one on ebay as well, it looks quite different!

That JVC is sweet, you got any pictures up of it on the forum?

sorry retrohead not for sale, still looking to fix it up for myself. you dont have any parts for it by any chance
