Another Wicked Local Score (Pics)

I picked this up late last night locally...it's a BEAUTY...a lot nicer than i thought it would be ...this is about as perfect for a J1 as you can get. All working perfectly, and with not 1 "creaky" sound when you pick it up...this box has never been opened up that's for sure! There are only 2 small cosmetic flaws on the box, plus it is missing the small clock battery cover...here's a quick pic in as found condition...group shot & stack of my J1's coming up later on today

Don't worry...they're all displaced nicely ...i have 1 boombox only in my garage...only because it's so filthy...i'll clean it up next week and bring it inside. Anyone who leaves boxes in a shed should be punished severely for boombox negligence

Nice! I got only three of these I was wondering, are these bargains or do you just buy any box that shows up? Personally I only take them for €30 or less. Otherwise I'm losing too much living space, they are so big lol Great stack!

I only buy "specific" boxes now...if i run out of living space i have a solution...MOVE again to an even bigger house

There's only 1 semi-beater box (bottom left)...but it's still really nice from the front... it just needs a new rear case as the feet are both broken off and 1 of the antenna mounting posts is broken.

That's a very recognisable problem lol What is the local brand you find at your place? Is it Tecsonic? Over here I only find the Supertech J747 brand, with alarm only. If I buy another one, it has to be the version with clock too! Boxes with clocks are a kind of personal grail But I don't think the Supertech one is made with clock

Yup, here i only find the Tecsonic version...with the Digital clock...the Supertech version is also really nice...the only one i don't like is the Clairtone version because it doesn't have the nice LED lights over the speakers!
