I'm so excited. Hope I get home before it does and that it doesn't rain on the box.

Been waiting for this one for a while :-)

Let's just say it's a manageable size and packs a punch for its size.

Sorry MyOhMy. It's not a Sanyo but it is a must have goodie.

I can now chalk this one off my list. Got a good deal on it as it had a few issues. Not any longer. Just wrapped up a complete teardown, clean, repair and I'm now enjoying. Everything is working 100% including music search.

Wow so clean! I like that idea for the cassette door, you can barely tell.
Can't go wrong with these, incredible deck, very moddable, and sound great.
If I had to sell off most of my collection, the M70 would be one of the last to go.

Class, the M70 is just one of those boxes that's hard to beat, as Eric said, great deck, great build, loud and sounds great.

Nice score and looks clean now.

Much appreciated everyone. These JVC boxes are are easy to work on once you've dove head first into a Conion. It's like going from level 10 to level 3...lol. A very enjoyable experience to tear down, clean, fix and put back together. With the Conion I'm always nervous and try to put it back together before I forget where a wire goes, etc.

I love this box and I am fairly sure this is going to be my "go to" box when the New Year party starts. :drunk:

Thanks guys. This box has already become one of my favorite vintage blasters. I can truly understand what all the hype is about.

It's a weird scenario. Does it have the most bass? No. Is it as crisp as the M90? No.

Does it kick butt for its size and pull its weight? You bet your @ss it does.

I've rocked this thing through 20 D batteries and I have enjoyed killing each set with this thing.

BTL amp power, big speakers, quality manual deck, solid tuner and a nice balance of size and weight. Pretty much the perfect street box!

They must have been super popular when new so I guess that’s why they’re so common on the ground today!

That deck door aluminum trim trick is AWESOME. Nice one man!
Thanks. Truth is, I didnt know if it would work and I had never done this before. Just had an idea and ran with it. It did work out well :-)

Yea it looks factory. it was a great idea. And simple.
I'll keep that one in the back of my mind for a future repair maybe.

The M70 is the only radio I got a duplicate of on purpose. I wanted a spare just in case! Definitely one of my favourites. Congrats on a nice one
