Yep, it's that time again....that time when your stomach starts filling with butterflies, when your nerves start jumping and when the lady at the post office (that has told you for the last 3 days...."Sorry sir, nothing yet") finally say's "YOU HAVE A LARGE PACKAGE SIR!" and I say "Why Yes, I do....but is my radio here!"

And She Says.....YES!!!!!!

Oh yeah, that anxious trot from the post office to the car and the 90 mph drive home....The setting up of the camera and....well....I'll just let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

lasonictrc975a.jpg

:-O WOW look at the size of that box! :-O
lasonictrc975b.jpg

All the great packing one would hope for!
lasonictrc975d.jpg

:-D The only way to ship these radios is to use a half of roll of industrial bubble wrap! :-D
lasonictrc975e.jpg

lasonictrc975f.jpg

lasonictrc975g.jpg

 YEAH! The Lasonic TRC-975
lasonictrc975h.jpg

Together again, the 935 and 975 look GREAT side by side and sound even better!
lasonictrc975i.jpg

Straight to BLASTING!
:jawdrop: WOW, the LBS setting on the 975 is powerful.
:jawdrop:
lasonictrc975k.jpg

 My Lasonic Family is really starting to fill out. So what do you think....should I add a TRC-931 to the group?
lasonictrc975l.jpg

 Tell me those 3 don't look great together!
lasonictrc975m.jpg

Only one thing left to do now....STACK'EM!

Well, once again I have to thank member BMoney for working with me on another great transaction! As I have mentioned before and shown in these pictures, he really knows how to ship these radios and it should be a real demonstration to anyone who hasn't tried shipping a radio yet, how to do it!

Makes me wonder what else he wants to sell? :hmmm: :-D

I better go make some more money first!

In the future look for side by side reviews of both of these radios. I will be opening them both up to have a look around and see what the real differences between these two giants are if any.

BUT NOW.....IT'S TIME TO DO SOME MORE BLASTING

It's like you are reading my mind. I've always wondered what the differences were between the 935 and 975 - other than casing. By the way, congratulations on the addition!!

Hey FD,

I have been wondering this for some time. The 975 brings a high sales price, but the 935 has some great features as well, including a clock, an EQ that lights up and a tape counter.

It's hard to not see the sear beauty of the 975 with those chrome round speaker grills.

My first evaluation of these two side by side is, they are just as loud, just as heavy and clearly the same size.

I need to do belts, so we will see the insides soon enough. That will tell us what we are dealing with!

I have said it before and I will say it again....buying from members is the way to fly!

To everyone else reading this...go shop in the "Boomboxes & Parts for Sale or Trade", that's where these came from!

Congratulations, Chris!

It's official... That's the very first time I've seen the TRC-935 and TRC-975 side by side.

Yeah, you've gotta get a TRC-931...

but which version looks better with those 2 boxes is the question... :hmmm:

That really is the question! I will have to do some serious research on this one. My eye loves the 1st edition, but they are hard to find all working. I do like the 2nd edition, so I wouldn't be too upset with that. The 975 and the 931 with matching speaker grills are just so sweet.

It is strange that I have searched the web for pictures with the 975 and 935 side by side and have never found them.

I need to pick up another digital camera (used my cell phone for these pictures) to get some high "Monolithic" quality pictures of these two together!

Then we will open them up and see what we got.

Hey Triple B, what models do you have? Pic's? I know you got a TRC-920!

Congrats Chris, love the tempting unpacking pictures too.

Bet she sounds massive

I am going to have to do some scientific evaluation.....(meaning drink some beer and rip the volume knob) to REALLY find out how massive the sound is. I can't help but to plug both the 935 and 975 in together right now.....But I promise I will hit the streets with the 975 and do some WALKiIN'

  I promise the shotgun will not leave the gun cabinet! I will get a camera out for some video as well.....

Damn....I love this radio already.....I have them both wired up blasting....The light show, the size...the chrome....wow....Just WOW!

Your 931 is first generation right????

And of course the beautiful 975....Still can't pull my eyes off mine!

Thanks Brother! Yeah, more spending....more radios and more fun!

I need to remember to save some money for BATTERIES!

I think I may need to build a display shelving system for the living room. The more I see what some members have done, the more I think I need a place to PROPERLY display AND give access to my awesome collection!

Soon, I'll be taking some pictures for the "Collections" section!
