I got the line in working, simple problem with the slider not being in the sheath on the switch itself. Popped it back in and boom...line in. That presented me with the ugly truth that the line in works over the radio. It is about half the volume of the radio(fm) and can be heard clearly on am/sw bands. If this is the only way this works, I am disappointed. Like I said, it's at about half volume of the FM signal, so I can hear how loud and warm(it does have a sweet sound) my music can be, and it's like a tease. Please tell me there is a solution to this.

thanks, yeah...kinda what I figured. I just saw a volume doubler attachment for the ipod that's like 15 dollars...will look into that I guess. Really like the sound on this boomer though. Really warm and clean.

The line in is only for recording, not an "aux". If you use the line in with the deck in rec. mode it should work better.

In line sux on this and the big yellow mags.

I usually just press pause, and play with a cassette adapter (none of my tape decks worked anyway)
