The reward of fixing this radio was well worth it. It performed well at the beach.

I seriously thought about taking the JBL as I can plop it right down on the beach and don't have to worry about sand getting into it. Of course it's only a BT speaker which requires me keeping my phone streaming data or playing mp3 the entire time. Its great aside from that. Being water resistant is awesome. It sounds great and loud. The little M70, I would spend more time worrying about sand getting in the volume control then enjoying my vacation.
But I have a parts M70 box that has a faulty treble control I plan to fix. Maybe I will take that one apart, fix those controls and take it. Now that's an idea.

maybe you could put some felt covers inside the sliders on the m70.....damn brother i miss the days of going out with boxes ain't done that in about 15 years lad.......maybe nextime you go take a few snaps for an old fart like me lol

The M70 got a few parents explaining what it was all about to their children while playing at the hotel pool. I didn't make it onto the sandy beach with it, but I did take it out a few times.
I ran into an awesome dude sporting a bumpboxx on his shoulder while on the Beach.
It was a great time for sure.

Living the high life ehh, the m70 looks great with the backdrop of the beach behind lad and the 16 shells to boot, yes i counted them lol....i remember i used to take an old kaboom down the beach needed 2 sets of rechargeable though, great times lad
wish i had taken the m90 down the beach if only 1 time as i have been everywhere else with one even hospital lad
anyway keep living the good life i know i would if i could and cheers for the pics they look great on a 65 inch screen almost like being there bro
