I just saw where Aiwa is planning on releasing a decent boombox sometime in 2025. Here's the article:

Unfortunately that's just a rebrand of something that's been out for at least a couple years now. It goes by the names Orion SCR-B9A, Muse M-380 GBS, and Medion P66538

I noticed they are using the same meters as the ION Retro Glow/ Boombox Deluxe & Street Rocker models. The speakers look almost identical to the GPO Brooklyn.

I'm sure about the meters, not so much about the speakers.

Here's the same boombox branded Muse that is currently for sale in certain locations:

Yeah it's happened time and time again, with several other models too. The same Chinese factory puts 20 different names on the same product.

I kind of like the silver version of the Muse M380. If Aiwa uses their technology in it and it sounds anything like the Aiwa Exos-9, it might be worth getting.

I agree, but that's a big "if". I think the Chicago team that launched the EXOS-9 sold the company to some Chinese conglomerate. And from what I've seen, that conglomerate seems to be just re-badging stuff. I wouldn't put any hopes on them adding any upgraded tech to this model.

Well, that sucks.

I'm waiting patiently for New Wave Toys to release their GF-777. They put out a survey on who would want a 1:1 scale and I filled that sucker out
Even if it has the cheap Tanashin decks in a side by side configuration, I would buy it. Hopefully a two motor setup versus 1 motor driving both decks.

I agree, you got a lot for your money with the New Wave M90. It sounded damn good for something so small.

I actually like this one until I saw the price . for that kind of money you almost have to expect qualify . if not then shame on them.
