I just talked to him again on the phone...he tells me now that he "sold one of them and threw the others away."



This kind of thing happens all the time on craigslist around here. This reminds me of the guy who wanted to raise the agreed upon price for his broken M-70...after I drove an hour and a half for nothing. At least this time the deal went south before I drove up there.

I seriously doubt he threw them away.
If he did toss them, he must be related to Rimmer or Gettoman.
I bet somebody told him boomboxes were worth more than $8.
So, he's giving up on CL...look for them on eBay soon.
