The guy was offered this in local ad for 50 euros, he say that everything is in function, I need advice from you guys, what to do about this

Should I try to put down the price?

There's a Marantz CRS-8000 on ebay for about $500.00 U.S. Nobody has bid because of the expensive shipping from China. If you have one in your neigborhood for $50 euros....don't sleep!!!

its worth getting even if you dont want it you could always bay it and get the extra money for one you do want

That would be one of my most expensive purchased boombox.

But just try it, if not possible i would take it for that price without doubt.
It´s a really solid looking unit.
At least it is a sublabel from PHILIPS.

UPDATE!

I did not buy it

The guys was lying about the condition of the box, :annoyed: it has numerous of scars and scratch, the VU's is not work, the tape deck is not work, on the both speakers it has some melted marks.
I was offered 35 euros, but he wont move from 50 euros and this is it
I was previously suspicious about the sincerity of the seller when I saw a only one posted picture, captured only by the side. He did not post a picture on the front of the box

I really like this Marantz and I never expected that I will find it here in Macedonia.
And............... still we have "tomorrow" and like MB84 says "something else will come along that will be worth your hard earned money".

I agreed and now I'm speeding to take it. :super:
