Thanks for some more great replies guys.
Not as many today but i have a new found respect for Blaster
and his roof top shots. It takes some time to lug these from one room to
another for pics ( dont get me wrong, im enjoying it
) let alone lugging
them up a flight of stairs to the roof !!
Any way here are a few more while trying to keep it interesting.
Starting with some mini's,
Sharp QT-F60
The interesting thing about these little Sharps, other than thier
obvious styling, is that when you push the 'clock' button it overides
what ever you are listening to, tape, radio and actually "speaks" the time !
Im a sucker for novelty
Next from one of my favorite range, the National RX range, these
two litle RX-F3's
Ok, trying to think of others not often mentioned or maybe not
so readily available to everyone.
One of my favorite boomboxes for quality, style sound, everything really.
Just a beautiful example of a boombox. The Yamaha PC-8
This blaster has feather touch controls, YMS= Yamaha Music Search System (track search),
auto reverse play, normal, CrO2 and metal tape selection, dolby, keyboard input.
These units really are nice.
Also you cant see in the picture but for those of you who have, or have seen, the speaker
grills on a Telefunken M1 and how the are moulded outwards, this Yamaha has the same
feature and it really adds to the styling.
Sticking with Yamaha, here is the PC-9
I think these guys are referenced on the Sanyo C9, anyone ??
Feature packed and smaller then the PC-8 and yet about the same weight,
but im so hooked on the 8 that i dont really give the 9 the same respect.
battery pack in the front (someone left some batteries in,
)
PC-8 and PC-9 together
lastly for today, another ESC = ( electronic sports collection ) version
of a recognisable boombox.
more soon
