Was going to call it My Kitchen Table Is On Fire but it just didnt have that
same ring to it  AAH HA HA HA HA ha ha haaaaaa.... aaaah, ANYWAY.
There is no way my collection could ever stand up to Blaster's awesome
collection, kitchen table or no kitchen table !

This is just a mix up of some i have, trying to show a few that we dont often
see, for those who love to check out the pics.
Also a thankyou to Bobby for some of his awesome labels, thanks
Bobby, i still have a few more to put on yet though.

Sorry guys but i seem to collect them faster than i can sit down and clean them so
not all of them have been detailed, but i get to them when i can.

Ok, straight up is one of Bobby's labels !

and again !
this was the first set of labels i had put on and even friends that have seen my collection
often still commented on how cool the 575 looked with them on !

Now i have sat back and heard a lot of different opinions about the GF 9797 but
in my book this is one of the most sleek looking boomboxes there is !

How about some mini's. I just picked up the yellow one recently so
here is my chance to show them.
These little guys are tiny !

How about this wierd looking Silver.

Here is a cool Akai, dont think i have seen
another before.

Here is another Akai i havent seen a lot of from
members or Epay.
If anyone thinks they have a louder Akai than this i would
love to see it ! This model rates more as a portable home
stereo than a boombox.

and again in full Bling...

and what does my ultimate boombox look like if we
could make our own ???? a bit like this...

When Ira says that the Aiwa 990's are good what do you do ??
Well you head off to find 2 of them and dont come home till you do !!
Actually i already had these and they are heavy beyond their size, you would
swear they are loaded with batteries.

i1jwnr.jpg

but my favorite Aiwa would be this 968.

x573lt.jpg

How about some more mini's, but this time with a bit of colour
Very cool little Sanyo's

The first time i seen one of these next ones it was a yellow one
and at the time i didnt really like them so i passed on it. Now
i cant find another yellow one anywhere :sadno:

wul655.jpg

This is a great colour, beautiful !
Needs a clean as it still has some paint spots on it
but it looks awesome

2n4pjn.jpg

Wanted to show this next one because it is one of my most
recent finds and one of my most exciting.
I always thought this was one of those ones i would have to get
off Epay but sometimes it pays to wait
Everything works as it should but needs a drive belt and a door.
Anyone know if another Toshiba door will fit ??

And lastly, for now anyway, another i havent seen anything of,

k9g8ie.jpg

How big is it ???
here is a pic with my 777 on top to show how stupidly big it is

Thanks for looking guys, sorry the pics are not great, perhaps i should
take them outside.
I have plenty more if you guys want some more pictures.

HOT stuff AZA!!!
Your double ups always astound me!

I'll take one of those Aiwa's off your hands if you run out of room one day!

LOVE your Toshiba too, supergrail that one. Great to see another one find a worthy home.

And I have a yellow one of those Sharp's, but it had a dodgey power supply so I hacked something in, and now it doesn't run on batteries. But great radio, love your 3!

Great work all round AZA, your the KING of finding hot radios in the wild!

Rock On.

Goodness, that box under the GF-777 is enormous!! :w00t: The 777 is a stupidly big box, the one underneath is an absolutely ridiculous size!! I love it! :-P

The GF-9797 is looking very nice indeed, so are the two Aiwa minis, and the Aiwa TPR-990's!

Australia must be a Boombox Paradise! You have so many boomers that are beautiful and interesting! I'm a big fan of color, so your Sanyo and Sharp mini's really caught my eye. And that "supidly big" one... what a monster! I love it! What brand is it?

More pictures when you get a chance, please.
