You guys are great! I forgot to mention that one of the three cell phone waiving people at the funeral, trying to play a song for everyone, had her song stop about 20 seconds into it. She actually had to restart it a 4th time before it played all the way. I made sure to look around at everyone's facial expressions as we all waited to hear it. There was that awkward pause. My Wife got MY - (Don't let that happen at My funeral) - facial expression. I told My wife that Jimmy should get the restored M90 I bought from him when I go. She said "NO! That is not going anywhere." I was impressed.

Last year my cousin David got married. During the outdoor service, they played music on a $30 CD egg - you can just imagine how that sounded outdoors. During the reception, they had a few musicians playing classical music and it was great but they only stuck around for an hour.

When it was time to get up and dance, guess what they dragged out to fire up the 100+ crowd? Yep, the $30 egg - it was truly pathetic - I couldn't hear ****! Every time someone dared walk near it, the CD would skip - we were on the top of a mountain. I felt like throwing it over the edge!

You need the right tool for the job! Phones are for making phone calls, eggs are for cracking and classic boomboxes are for shaking the foundations!!

James.... :-)

Well said Jimmy, the right tool for the job.

In this modern world of "Shrink it down and put it in your pocket" there are certain things that this philosophy doesn't work with. Little bluetooth speakers are fine for playing music in the kitchen while making dinner, but an M90 is the right tool for the mountain top reception. Damn shame, since you only have one funeral and upwards of a few weddings in a lifetime

I took the Clairtone to my wife's Uncle's backyard party yesterday. The egg radio was quickly moved to the side. The crowd went bananas at the size and sound quality. It had their heads and feet moving. 2015032195180501-1.jpg

If you look closely, I was standing in the back, holding the Clairtone, making sure they didn't drop it. 10613012_10206541227511686_4651671796089088018_n-1.jpg
