I did it! I pulled the trigger on the same guy you bought from. He had a 939z that I've been wanting for awhile now. I'm hoping he takes care of me the way he took care of you. So stand by till I get it guys! :ebay:

I can also verify his credentials as a reliable seller. I think he's really had to sharpen his act up with shipping etc. At the end of the day he seems to have a warehouse full of boomboxes that are desirable to everyone......... outside of China............. As a result, his only means of selling them are through ebay to overseas customers. Without ebay he's stuck with them. With ebay he's probably doing pretty well for himself financially. If he's pulling in $1000US a week from boombox sales he'd be doing very well in China......

I'll let ya know after I restore the cassette decks on it. I'll definitely pump the ipod through it to see what she can do. This one is way slimmer than her fat sister the C-100f and it doesn't have a 3 way speaker system either. Just a two way. Don't know if that'll play a factor in sound like bass but we shall see. Right on! This is encouraging... considering the large number of boomers that seem to be peppered across China! Good to hear about a stand-up seller.
However, I do have one bone to pick with this comment:
"Can't believe how much technology was put into some tape decks, when tapes really sounded like poo."
