Heyya, =)

Nice additions to the stable. I've seen some threads where you literally brought a boomer back from the brink of land-fill doom.

Keep up the excellent recycling skills, bro.

Cheers,
Cpl

Thanks guys it feels great to get a partially to non working unit looking ugly and trash bound and transforming it to a fully working shelf queen

By the way I have been jamming to tapes for 2 days now and the 9v motor is going strong. I'm going to buy a 12v cw soon just for back up ;-) If anyone has an extra please let me know. Thanks :-D

Hi Bill,

I actually sent the P.M before I posted in your thread !?

Anyway, I've got a complete deck out of a 1977 JVC RC-727 (12V box). I'm not sure if they are the same deck but they were made around the same time.

It's got a nice pinch roller too that hasn't gone hard.

You can have what ever parts you need:

James.... :-)

Thanks bro  I would love the motor and pinch roller for sure :smooch:

Can you check back of motor to see if it has the hole for speed adjustment please James :-)
There is a hole in the 2nd photo. If you insert a small, flat screwdriver, you can turn the screw left and right. Is that the one for the speed adjustment?

James....

Hey Bill,

I know you loved the 920 you had in the past and how hard it was for you to part with it so I'm thrilled for you that you found another!
Keep this one ;)
Nice work Bill :)
