Sweet box Alan! Great find!

Theres 300 people at my work, im thinking about putting up a boomboxes wanted poster.

I work in an office of 600 at a creative media company and with just a few casual conversations I've located one vintage boombox. Of course, I'm still waiting to see it, but "it's silver, it's been in the family for 30 years, I used to make mix tapes with it, and it's in the garage" is a great start.

So it turns out it's a Trident, this one iin fact:

Piggybacking on Alan's thread - hope that's cool in the boomboxery netiquette - here's my first of the year.

It's a nice looking and sounding Tisonic PR-7000 that needs belts and antennas. I purchased it from the son of the original owner for USD$60.

The Tisonic brand I believe, was also sold as Trident and Nippon, or vice versa - not sure which came first. Does anyone know anything more about them‽

It doesn't have as much bass as my 931 Mk III, but it will blast a room!

It's my first 6-speaker/3-way, dual antenna, one-piece, and I'm kinda digging the configuration - gonna focus on it for a while.

Anyway here are some pix:

Hey ml, that Tisonic,s a real looker, kinda reminds me of a Phillips. Great work on that poster also, think i,ll do something similar.
