Posts like this really make my day when I log on to check the new posts, great read.

It is intimidating joining any close knit society such as this but we all have a mutual love of boomboxes and audio to mix in with our general stories and experiences so I feel like we all have something to bind us together.

I think its great there are some members like you Chris that always have some stories to share, a kind word or two or some great pics to show. I notice you always comment on a new thread by a newbie with some words of encouragement or some helpful words where perhaps some others don't bother. You are one of the good guys for sure.

Thanks Bro, Like you when I got here I was faced with a bunch of guys that had been collecting for a while, known each other from another website and had a back history. I just wanted to find my old radio and get it fixed. What I found was a lot more. People that really helped me out back then, to find parts and get what I needed to make it all come together. I just wanted to make sure who ever else stumbled into this crazy Boombox collecting world would feel as welcome as those guys made me feel so they can find their radio and keep it going.

On a much more serious note, thanks for all your tech help. So many of my projects are "Hacked" together and sometimes it works and sometimes I need help from the pros (winking at you to Norm). I really do appreciate you taking the time to answer my PM's and point me in the right direction!
