Great finds.

How many approximate g-sales do you hit a week? I hit like 1 and I get so frustrated for having to drive/park etc I give up... I have all the intentions though, I say to myself every year "this is going to be the big garage saling year"

The Toshiba RT-200 is bl**dy beautiful.
This was the first stereo (other than car stereos) I had seen with an Auto Reverse deck in my childhood. I had the paper ad cutting with me for some time.

Love the Tonka dump truck!
I think most 30-Somethings had one as kid. I used to ride mine down the front walk by sitting in the dump body. It was a very versatile toy. Most of them looked pretty rough after spending a summer in the sandbox, though.

June 21 2014 garage sale finds.
I got lucky today. Went looking for garage sales in an older neighbourhood.
Stopped at one and found a few items:

1. Vintage unopened 1958 Canada Dry Old English Ginger Beer Bottle - $3.00

2. Vintage 1976 Electrohome model C24-301 Color 9" Portable TV - Made in Japan, nice shape, Regular price was $349 back in the day. - $5.00

(TV came with the elusive Sony AN-15 UHF Antenna I needed for my 1969 Sony Trinitron)

3. 7 vintage Auto tins including 3 unopened Oil cans - $15.00

Not many sales on this weekend here in Toronto Canada, since it is long weekend (Canada day) but I did manage to find this 1976 RCA CA 097A
Black and white 9 inch TV. Nice red cabinet with UV Plexi screen.
I'll get some better pics of it once cleaned up. :smoke:

You must have dozens of TVs by now Robb....it's about time you got some sturdy shelves and displayed them all together as it would look really cool :-)
