Went to an estate sale today and got these 1986 RADIO SHACK Catalogs for free.
They were nice enough to give them to me.

Went to 3 estate sales today, got there a bit late but still managed to find some goodies.

Here's a vintage 1981 Technics SA-203 Receiver. Paid $8. Works perfect.
It was a but dirty but cleaned up nicely.
Excellent quality and rare. Nicest tuner Ive seen !
30 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms
1981 MSRP was $230.
MADE IN JAPAN

Second up is a Realistic SCR-31 Boombox.
Paid $5 for it. Near mint condition.
Also got some blank cassettes thrown in.
Even though its Made in China, I still got it since its mint..lol

Went to see an old 1977 Sylvania 12" tv today but wasnt to my liking.
The seller also had alot of electronics and records for sale because her sister recently died in a car accident so shes selling the contents inside.

Anyways, heres some records and also cassettes I found for 50 cents each. The records look unplayed !

This weeks estate sale finds: Got all this for $21. The vintage novelty transistor radios and Structo truck are cool.

Yes, the Corvair pickup (I'm assuming that's what it's meant to be) is very cool indeed! It even looks quite like the real thing, which is even cooler:

Forgot to post my Realistic SCR-2 Model 14-805 Boombox portable radio. It was sold at Radio Shack between years 1980-1983 as per catalog. I found it at an estate sale for $5.00. It was very dirty but cleaned up well. The cassette deck works but will need new belts of course. Not a bad radio sounds real nice and picks up stations well.

Here's my 1967 Buddy L Pressed Steel Volkswagen Ski Lodge Bus/ Van. Not in the greatest condition, it is missing the top sliding sunroof plastic, and 1 front headlight is cracked and a bit rough around the edges although it does have a nice patina to it.

Made in the heartland of America, East Moline, Illinois, it was one of few VW bus toys made in the U.S. and the only large scale steel bus. By the 1960's the U.S. toy industry was rapidly outsourcing production to Japan and China. These Microbuses have attained serious collectors status in recent years due to their being made in the States and the unique steel construction, not to mention that prime examples are scarce.

Now that is cool...I even like that its a bit rough and rusty as it makes it just like the real thing...I'd be really pleased to pick something like that up...nice! :-)
