Personally i pick the GF 9000, because it has an overall cleaner/more solid look.

I like the looks of the Sharp 9000 over the 931. As for best sound between the S90 and M90...the M90 is widely known as the best sounding 1 piece boombox on the planet. The S90 is definitely in the same class though. I think all 4 of these boomboxes belong in any collection...

Answering your 2nd question 1st, the M90 is louder and has more of a dynamic sound over the S90, but the S90 has deeper bass...
Again, the #2 best 1-piece box is the S90, M90 is #1...

On a cosmetic note, the S90 looks way better than the M90.

I can't really decide which of the two looks better. I think I'd go for the Sharp just because it has those neat needles But the Lasonic looks just as good

I've never heard S90 so I can't quote on that. But as for looks of M90 and S90 each has it's own independent awesome looks.

As for the Sharp/ Lasonic comparison I think they both have great looks. I again dont have sharp but I do have all 3 editions of Lasonic.

All around I agree that all 4 should be part of any collection

On a side note: What is the differnce between Phono in and Line in? And just to be sure the GF 9000 has line in right? Asking because Phono in doesn't seem to work with anything you connect with an audio cable, like an MP3/MP4 Player,Phone,Computer,Radio etc.

I know everyone is hung up on the M-90 but I don't believe it is the end all be all
Of all one piece boomboxes. S-90 is definitly a well rounded boombox And imho more so than the M-90.
M-90 has good strong highs and good presence for a one piece but that's about it.

True. That's what I was thinking. 9000 is no bass machine
If its bass you are after you can't go wrong with TRC-931

True. That's what I was thinking.

I probably got a lot of hate for saying that the M90 couldn't compete with the TRC-931's bass but it's the absolute truth!! People get wrapped up in the fact that the M90 is a much higher quality made box and can't imagine that a cheap-ass Lasonic could knock it out in bass output, but again, it's the absolute truth!!

All boxes have strong points and weak points. I will agree with you about 931 bass.
Lasonic has some great bass but lacking in the treble department
I guess that's why most of us have two or more of these crazy plastic
Things.

Well the GF 9000 should certainly have more bass than the Panasonic RX CW31-L im listening to right now. http://www.karaoke80.ru/foto_muz/126.jpg . And it packs some punch at high volume, lacking highs cuz it has no tweeters.(Basically i hope that the GF 9000 will be able to reproduce the Humms in music that most medium-low sized boxes cant produce at decent volume.

I agree with last posts from Melly and Mono. For me - best ghetto is 931. Black,cool LEDs, shiny, loud, deep bass - pure ghettoblaster. m90 and S90 are for the posh collectors . GF 9000 is massive and good boomer. My was pretty good on bass actually. IMO it depends from the state of the woofers. But is far from what you can expect from this size of woofers. All other boomers with this size woofers are beating her up. But is not bad at all if the woofers are in good shape. The vu's (and especially if not discolored) are best from the needle ( i collect lately just LED boomers ) . But they (the VUs of 9000) are not the best moving tho . I mean- far from good sensitivity . But still cool. And one thing - on pictures you cant say how massive is gf9000. It is quite huge boomer actually

my friend found a pos rca box in the trash , this things sounds fantastic .

sounds as good as the m90
has better bass than both

the cassette is the best iv'e heard
the bass kills most boxes
clear and loud pronounced high's

i could beat down most of my collection with this pos rca 3 piecer no lie, so just know there are boxes in this world that can suprise the hell out of you .

I love that too. And a lot of 3 piecers kick easy all of m/s90 ,931 and so 1 picers.... So i love 3 piecers too
