I love those types of radios, given the chance I would snap one up. 
It's a wonder how they saw the future of technology with this super-dooper, Space Age, top of the range, futuristic, geeky radio.

Those high power transistors in the amp section are no joke , those are used in high end equipment. That thing is a serious piece of work.
Big elliptical speakers too, many 70's decent wirelesses had these driven by decent output stages & sounded too good tbh!! Those days are gone 🤢🤢🤢
Do any of you know about fm signal fade? When I power it on, fm signal is good for about 5 seconds and goes away. If I pop back and forth to another radio band and stop on fm, signal is strong again for 5 seconds and fades away again.....
Sounds like the band selector switches need to be cleaned. I notice all my VZ 2000 with the dirty band selector switches the tuner Fades out.
