:agree: :agree: he will fix it alright :yes: :yes: :yes: and talking about the aiwa 990 i have one which i almost finished it its still in need for power to the motor for the controls everything is basicly done except for that so i guess when i get the time i will finish it :yes: :yes: :yes:

That's simple. The power resistor is probably blown and if memory serves correct, it's near the top side of the circuit board. Trace the motor wires from the motor to the board and test that power resistor that's near it -- I'll bet a $1 it's open.
