What really ticks me off about this is I spent lots of money sending this to Germany and I feel cheated now 
I have no idea where the tapes are. It is a shame this never worked out but I really can't do anything about it.

I agree. That was who I sent tapes too and last I heard he got them we should have just sent to members that have been active. Like Chris said we put time and effort into it as well

I have no idea where the tapes are. It is a shame this never worked out but I really can't do anything about it.

A lost tape is a lost tape. start traveling tape 3.0 !
Start with one member on the list.
Members on the traveling tape list can only add trustworthy members they have seen in person.
If you want to be on the list, mail someone on the list, that you know.
List members promise to make a copy of the tape before sending it over a big pond.
List members not shipping over a big pond, add 1$ to the envelope to help with overseas shipping as needed.
That should stop some of the nonsense.
