bought these speakers they were 3 k new expected lots of work

it turns out had to repair one driver, easy for me, now fully working with ribbon tweeters these sound ultra amazing with so much adulterous bass, bass goes down to 30hz and there huge

just need a bit of bodywork done to them :-) :yes: :-D :thumbsup:

the best iv had in my life the treble is so silky smooth and bass second to none Monitor audio rule lol

I thought I was the only one that did this :lol:
I don't get exhaust fumes inside but it does a great job of getting the stink bugs and cob webs with stuck leaves out of the nooks and crannies.

People thought I was crazy but it really works! I open all windows and sliders to do this. I have the Stihl BR700 so that thing puts out hurricane forces of winds!

So back to the topic. I have to admit although I haven't heard the sound quality of those particular speakers, i do have an appreciation of them. I have all built in speakers so not really audiophile quality. They do the job with my 9.1 receiver. Enjoy them. The case looks repairable.

reno I can't post pics because my phone is low on memory .
I got the whole HiFi stack off Craig's list from the original owner including all the manuals and remote controls . everything is pristine.

The amp is 175 watts per channel , my APM 22 can't take 1/8 the power but the sp 97 eat it right up.

If i put the bass on full and turned up my amp i could smoke these in seconds lol 3 grand up in smoke homie lol and my amp is only 80w p/c, its the twin eq's the bass in just nuts lad lol

My rule with speakers is they have to take what their given power wise , I punish speakers to see what they can do , its all part of my fascination with speakers lol.

just bought 4 bass drivers for these cheap off the bay, good for spares as im like floyd and always blowing speakers lol :w00t: :-)

Well i have replaced the tweeters on my monitor audio...cost £260 and the speakers sound wonderful much better than the twin 18" i had, the only thing i wonder is how there rated at 200 w rms....my amp must be putting out 400 w rms p/c lol so as long as i don't go above 4 on the dial im good to go

wish i had a normal set up like every one else lads lol
