OK Boom Boxers,

I get a call from a friend of mine, says he was at a junk store and found a boom box he just knew I would want. He told me it was a vintage player and that he bought it for me! Of course I got all excited! He told me it needed a repair.

Then I see this THING!

It's a Timex T600-A-E(3)

SO MY QUESTION TO YOU IS, SHOULD IT LIVE OR DIE?

"Live" means, It will go on the shelf and I might look into repairing it down the line

"Die" means it gets the business end of my 12 gauge Shot Gun of which I will film and post here on Boomboxery.

are you sure this guy is your friend. he must have been having a go at you man.
good one.
lol.
now this timex is most likely not a collectors item. but...... you never know.
a week ago i saw a kind of interesting clock radio in a thrift store for a couple bucks.
it was a sony time cube. i hmmmed and hawed over it and decided not to bother.
out of a freak stroke of luck i came across one on ebay that evening.
i was shocked to see with a couple days left to go the bid was close to two hundred bucks.
one mans junk......

Very interesting indeed....However....As of right now, the voting is not looking good for this little radio!

To be honest, I could spend all day shooting egg radios, just for the hell of it!

BUT, it's really not up to me! This radio's fate lay in the hands of the Boomboxery members! And as of right now....It's DIE DIE DIE DIE Might be worth something! :-D

Oh little radio, it's not looking good! Not looking good at all :grim:

I think I agree with you! :-P

This radio's fate lay in the hands of the Boomboxery members!

And as of right now....It's:

DIE
DIE
DIE
DIE
Might be worth something!
Swap for iPod
12 Gauge
DIE!!!!
CLICK CLICK BOOM!!!!!
:grim:
:grim:
Just bring it to the Deep South for proper disposal!
i would not smash.

I say...

Open the T-6000 up
Put as much legal amount of firecrackers or whatever is legal in your state as you can inside the T-6000
Leave a good long fuse out
Grab a tripod
Grab a video camera
Set up the tripod and camera at a "safe" distance from the T-6000
Zoom into the T-6000 (I like the model name if you haven't noticed)
Press "record" on the video camera
Light the fuse at the very tip
Run like hell in the opposite direction of the T-6000
Finally edit it with slow-mo featured in any ol Windows Movie Maker and make us all happy by uploading it on YouTube!
Verdict: (kinda obvious, but I just need to say it):

DIE!!!!

:grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim: :grim:

I've never killed anybody by the way...
