Tried to use search on this topic but came up zero so here is my bestest freebie. The Lasonic TRC931 round 3rd edition I won this on eBay for $100 buy it now shipped free. I was promissed $20 refund by seller due to late in shipping and damage to transformer in shipment if I put positive feedback. Well she lied and I went to EBay and they returned my whole amount of $100 because the lady not only lied to me but had done this kind of sh-t before. So I repaired broken the broken post, cleaned her up and replaced belts plus Norm repaired volume pot. Don't it look pretty

Thanks I have actually had this one for a half a year I do have the 1st and 2nd editions as well as 3 I931's. The decal is not original but a replica

This is the only box of note I've scored for free. Not that I'm complaining as she's lovely!

The story is the lovely Sanyo came from one of my clients at work. She was 'downsizing' and moving into smaller accommodation and brought this gem in wondering if I'd like it. Of course I was elated, and she was very pleased to see it go to an appreciative home.

My BEST freebie is the Lasonic TRC-951 that showed up damaged at my house USPS paid the full insurance value + the shipping ($230 total) and they let me KEEP the box.

The electronics are perfect and only the rear case was damaged luckily. So I came out about $50 ahead on that boombox because I paid $180 shipped for it .

I am swapping the rear case from another 900 series lasonic and putting the 951 sticker on it just like the original was. Then it will be 100% like nothing ever happened to it.

doh! skippy the sanyo and rx 5100 already went to boomboxnut and she loves both of them sorry man but at least they are getting the use they would not have gotten from me because i have too many boxes never thought i would say that . and i'm sorry to say kittmaster has the fisher , trust me that box is the pita from hell to work on but chris got her going 100% .
