I am considering selling most of my collection

to buy a mint jvc m90

this would leave my with jvc m90 , lasonic-935 and sharp 777

My thoughts are these 3 units are my favorite and the others are nice but because my 777 is in top shape I wonder what a really mint m90 would be like ?

The other problem is I'm not a seller I have no experience selling and I have to make 10 sales or so to build the funds...

in a brief I want a mint m90 is it worth the risk and trouble of selling most of my collection?

All replies are welcome

I can't answer all of your questions. All I can say is this: if the JVC is mint or near mint and you want it.Go for it!You would then have three heavy hitters, all with great sound.Great M90's don't come around all that often.Lesser boxes that are still good show up much more. Also you only live once, might as well get what you really want.

^^^What he said^^^...go for it.

I'm with you in not really being a seller. I hear of all the dramas people experience when shipping a box to some Ebayer only to be accused of misrepresenting the condition of the boomer.

If your heart is set on an M90, then I suppose you're going to have to run the risk.

I've heard a nice M90 and it did sound good but it's not the best sounding box I've heard. The M90 is an icon though, hence the fascination and lust for this model.

Good luck,

James.... :-)

Try and sell them here then it's usually not as bad. Although you may not get as much for them at least you know the members won't beatch about it 😉

Selling is allot of work, I have some radio's I want to sell, but it is a butt ton of time and work to pack them all up right and get them shipped safely.

Here is my personal motivational speech... :w00t: :-D

Search the internet for the sexiest pictures of the M90 you can find. Ones that just make you
Next, make them the wallpaper on your computer screen, cell phone, tablet and any other device you have. If you can, print pictures of the M90 and hang it on the wall next to the mirror for when you shave. Tape a little picture to the dashboard of the car.

This will do one of two things....

A) you will say, "You know what, it's not worth all the effort and money, it's just a radio"

B) you will super obsess over it seeing it day and night and when you have to put in the extra effort to get your collection listed, packed up and sold it won't see so hard doing the work because you are motivated to GET THAT M90!!!!

Thanks for your reply boomus
If I could be rid of some of my radios with out risk I would
Only to get a mint m90 though
What I believe now after sum years of collecting is that condition is number one when building one's collection
Most of my radios are in good or really good condition yet if I had the total sum of all my radios I would seek these 4 radios in like new condition. ... jvc m90,sharp 777,sharp 9696 and lasonic-trc935

That is actually probably some of the best advice I've heard for obtaining something of desire.
