When a certain type of Item becomes collectable some people think every representation is a gold mine.
This is a great example of "it's a boombox so it's must be worth a fortune".

It's certainly worth a good laugh but in the end the market will tell the seller your overpriced and he will either lower the price or not sell the box. He may get lucky like some of these greedy sellers do and he may snag some goof with a big wallet who has to have that model and will overpay to get it.

Every model can sell for high or low depending upon condition, etc, but that one definitely seems priced outside the mainstream range in my mind for a low end model.

I sold one like that I think it was 1- 2 years ago, But it was NIB with all papers original operational manual and a cassette demo with it for $400 with the free smell of fresh NIB .

BoomBoxDeluxe, what I look for first in a box is the separate treble and bass control, if it has only one knob that says "tone", then I don't really care for it... UNLESS of course it's a Strānj-Bōōmbŏks!
