This Crown SPH-140 has all the qualifications of a boombox: a pre-recorded music player (phono), radio (AM, SW1, SW2), handle, and takes batteries (6D) or AC (with adapter).
Yes, it's heavy, but it's portable.
PLUS, IT'S AN IRA SPECIAL... actually made out of wood!
