From a local seller who needed room. Most needs some work. But I'm quite ecstatic about my pickups. More work for me -- hooray!
Sony, Japanese Mini. Dual tape decks, clock, graphic equalizer, auxillary feature, TV as well as AM/FM bands, autoreverse, lotsa features for a small mini and I just LOVE the RED color. I won't even have to waste any red paint as it's already done Anyone have a japanese translater so I don't press the "fire" or "detonate" button without knowing it?
Here is a Hitachi that I have been looking for as I always loved the looks of these. This one is dead as a doornail and cosmetics isn't very good which is very typical for Hitachi's which always seem to take more beatings than other boxes. Either the finish weren't designed to hold up as well as other boxes or they get treated like crap.
Here is a huge/heavy bugger of a JVC. Sound is terrific but neither tape or turntable functions are working right now. But cosmetics wise, it's almost mint! Learning to limit my condition vocabulary to be more like Ira. I'm very impressed with this one. After playing with this it, I almost feel like throwing my SG-500 into the trash.
I don't do cassette much but I DO do CD's and this is a very nice one. Sound is pretty good -- better than the CFS-9000 and more powerful than the CDF-5. Highs are crisp and clear and the bass.... well it tries but I guess there is as much bass as you can probably squeeze out of those teeny Sony APM's. I think this is gonna going on my shelf to take care of CD duties for me.
