This is the sequel to this topic: http://www.boomboxery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=6892
I love the walkmans of the Sony sports line and always look out for Sony sports boomboxes.
But they seem to be quite rare in germany.
So this topic is more about the color yellow =)
We start with the Sony CFS-930 with Auto Reverse. A nice water protected boombox. The handle can be mounted to the top or to the right side.
I use this one in my bathroom to listen to tapes or FM-radio under the shower.
Here we have the Universum "AquanautiK" CTR-3074. It´s water protected and features Auto Reverse, too. I think its a rebranded Sanyo. But I´m not sure.
The design is really cool. I love the yellow/blue color scheme.
The Letron BE-250 is another water protected yellow boombox. Quite cheap quality. Unlike the Universum and Sony it has some kind of foil on the speaker membranes to protect them from water.
I think lots of you know this one. Philips D8304. Its not water protected but its yellow and looks cool. The quality is nothing to brag about but its loud enough for the park.
And the last one is another Philips: D8080 "Le Cube". Its not trying to be a high end stereo. Its just a nice beach radio with a unique design. 2 small speakers on the front and 1 big speaker on each side.
It got some nice extra space for tapes and beverages under the hood. It can hold 3 cool cans of coke and 4 tapes when the hood is closed. Unfortunately coke cans are bigger now so they don´t fit no longer. So I decided to go with beer for the shoot
