Hi guys,got my last Boombox for quite some time and it is a doozy!!(lol)
The Yamaha PC-9 is a very heavy quality Boombox!!
This thing pounds!!:0 Man beautiful quality sound!Ira is right,compares to a JVC PC-55 in sound quality!

Needs belts as I spun the flywheel and it went into play mode but can't get it to go back into stop mode.
No big deal right now as I don't hear the motor running but again belts are gone I'm sure.
Very good shape and 100.00 so I did good.
Battery tray is good antenna is perfect and it has a phono in so an attenuator is in order for this.

Love how heavy it is and it is a Yamaha!! My only one but I got the top dog!

Are these hard to get at belts? Curious as I'll tackle it in a couple of weeks.

Nice find!! Those Sanyo C9 clones sure do sound great. Good luck on the re-belt. I can't help you with any advise sorry.

Sanyo C7 clones...

The belts can be gotten to but the main one takes some work. If your slick you can get it with taking it apart but you have to be VERY careful cause it's not super easy. I can send you the Sanyo C7 service manual if you need it.

I'm still not myself lately
I really like this beast!
I'm not in a hurry on doing these belts.
I'm actually selling 2-4 boxes for the first time as I have a few duplicates I don't need and I could use the $ for my truck and Camaro!
No boxes until December!!:0

Yes who knows,I may just see if Freddie wants to help me sometime with this! If it's really hard I'm not in a big hurry and I want to make sure it get's done right.
