I was about to say the same thing about the price. Insane!
It's not even a true compo, like the OG PC series 5, 11, 55 etc.
Somebody with deep pockets wants it bad. I feel a case of buyers remorse coming on. :-/

Curious.... different seller, but also from Ontario. Same high bidder drove up the price, but came in second place for this one as well. Personal Grail, or shill bidding? You make the call... :hmmm:

Besides that, that box is selling for more than I've seen PC-55's and PC-550's sell for recently. Are those PC-W300C's as powerful? :huh:

The PC-W300 is rated at 9 watts/channel. Same as the PC-200 and the PC-11. The PC-5 is rated 13 watts/channel. The PC-55 is rated at 17 watts/channel.

But before you think that this tells the whole story.... don't forget that the M90 is only rated at 8.5 watts/channel, the M70 - 7 watts/channel.

I just noticed that the seller said "This system pumps out 65 watts" That is a load of crap... 65 watts is the power CONSUMPTION. My laptop pumps out 85 watts by his standards.... :dunce:

OK, this second example has me confused...are these really now going for $500.00? Mine really sounds nice, but come on! $500.00 dollars? Anyone like to give an opinion as to what they REALLY are worth? Anybody else own one currently?

Just so you know... 65 watts is the power CONSUMPTION of the
unit... not the output. The actual output specs for this model is 9
watts/channel. 18 total....

I had been considering throwing mine on ebay for a $500 BIN. It is in better shape than this one... and if the bidder is real he may go for it and forget about the one up for sale. Heck I even have an original service manual and a mint brochure just for the PC-W300. He would have to pay extra for those though... :lol:
