...somebody must have wanted that real bad. An M90 went for $431 today...guess it all depends on the buyer. I don't know that you will find many in that condition and fully functional, I am sure that had something to do with the price.

Its a nice box, the buyer is going to have fun anyway. 
My VZ 2000 needs some work to get up to this standerd but for under £40 and £30 postage you can't go wrong.

Not really IMO. That's still quite lot of money. Compared with ridiculously high prices we see on eBay, yes it's cheap. I know it's an M90, the 'holy grail'. But in the 'real World' where a 20+ year old radio is seen as an obsolete relic by most people, you could probably pick one up at a flea market for maybe $10 - $15 like you can most boomboxes, because the average seller doesn't realise how much we love and worship them, and how good they are compared with most other models .
